Smiles Mobile Remittance Joins as Co-Organizer for Philippine Festival Toyama 2026
Nagoya, Japan – March 27, 2026 – Smiles Mobile Remittance, operated by Digital Wallet Corporation, has officially partnered as a co-organizer of Philippine Festival Toyama 2026. The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony held at the Philippine Consulate in Nagoya.

The signing brought together key representatives from both sides, including Alex Milan, Director and EVP of Digital Wallet Corporation, Guillermo Del Rosario, President of the Toyama Association of Filipino Communities (TAFCO), and Joyce Yagihashi, Chairwoman of the Events and Festival Committee of TAFCO. The collaboration signals a shared commitment to create a meaningful and memorable celebration for the Filipino community in Toyama.
Philippine Festival Toyama 2026 is scheduled for May 9–10, 2026, at Joshi Koen Toyama Castle. The two-day event will serve as a tribute to 70 years of Philippine-Japan friendship and is expected to welcome a large number of attendees, offering a vibrant showcase of Filipino culture through performances, food and community activities.
As a co-organizer, Smiles Mobile Remittance will take on a more active role in shaping the event, working closely with TAFCO to support planning, programming and overall execution. The festival will also feature a Smiles booth, where attendees can participate in fun activities, receive special offers and learn more about its reliable remittance services.
