Vietnam Festival 2024 was held in collaboration with the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan, continuing the success of the Vietnam Festival 2023, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam. Among the festival’s attractions was the “Water Puppet Show,” a traditional Vietnamese art form making its first-ever appearance at the Vietnam Festival. This unique performance captivated audiences with its enchanting storytelling and skillful puppetry on water, bringing a piece of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage to Japan.

In addition to these major milestones, visitors were able to experience the vibrant culture:

• 131 booths showcasing Vietnamese food, arts and products
• A stunning Hội An lantern display that transported visitors to the picturesque streets of Vietnam
• A lively concert stage featuring renowned Vietnamese and Japanese artists, including Phuong Ly, Anh Khoa, Buc Tuong and more
• A variety of food booths, offering a taste of Vietnam’s diverse and rich cuisine
