Yes. The purpose of the Smiles Loyalty Points Program is to help customers lower or eliminate the transaction fee for every remittance.
A Smiles customer must share their referral code or QR code to their "friend".
Referral points are then earned when the referred person :
Once the transaction has been processed successfully, the invitee will immediately receive 500 points.
When you're inserting the information for your remittance, there will be a designated box for you to enter the amount of points you want to use towards your transaction. Points cover the fees that will automatically be calculated into your remittance.
A box to enter points will appear on the remittance screen. When you enter points, remittance fees will be automatically deducted.
Please note that 100 points is equivalent to 1 SGD.
