TOKYO — June 29, 2025 — The Filipino community in Japan gathered at the Rihga Royal Hotel in Tokyo to celebrate the 127th Philippine Independence Day at an event titled La Independencia de los Ilustrados, organized by the Philippine Assistance Group. Guests arrived in their finest barongs and Filipiniana dresses, proudly showcasing Filipino culture and tradition.

Participants confidently walked the stage in their traditional attire, each one showcasing intricate designs and personal touches that celebrated the Philippines’ diverse regional styles.
