Smiles Indonesia organizes events, connects with communities in Japan

Tokyo, Japan – Digital Wallet Corporation’s Smiles Mobile Remittance, the number one global mobile money transfer app in Japan, sent its Smiles Indonesia Team to travel around Japan and connect with international communities. 

 

On Oct. 23, 2022, Smiles Indonesia organized Smiles Futsal Play Along in Gifu, Japan. Warung Kita, an Indonesian shop in Gifu, partnered with Smiles Indonesia to host the event. The winning team won a grand prize of a Smiles limited-edition futsal jersey set. This event helped strengthen the relationship between Smiles Indonesia and the Indonesian community in Gifu.

 

On Oct. 30, 2022, two events were arranged to connect with more communities in Japan. At the Toyota-shi Kamigo Community Center, Smiles held “Maulid Nabi”, which was an Islamic gathering in Toyota-shi with a well-known and respected figure in the Islamic community in Japan. There were almost 100 participants who joined the event.

 

At the top of a mountain in Fukui, Smiles organized a different event also on Oct. 30, 2022. The Fukui Family, an Indonesian community in Fukui, gathered with Smiles Indonesia for a BBQ event. 

 

Everyone who attended was a loyal customer of Smiles Mobile Remittance which helped the service continue maintaining relationships with them.

 

Smiles Indonesia continues to fulfill the Smiles Mobile Remittance mission by organizing, attending and supporting events to connect communities all over Japan.
