Smiles Mobile Remittance India Joins the Celebration of Colors Across Japan
Events
Tokyo, Japan, April 17, 2025 – Last March 2025, the Smiles Mobile Remittance India team had the honor of participating in two Holi festivals that lit up Indian communities in Japan with color, culture and connection.

Holi Milan in Ibaraki
Hosted by Shree Ram Mandir Bando in Ibaraki Prefecture on Mar. 23, 2025, Holi Milan was a heartwarming gathering that brought together Indian communities across the region. Celebrated to mark the arrival of spring, Holi is a festival known for its vibrant colors and message of unity.
Though far from home, the many Indian families came together to recreate the spirit of Holi right here in Japan—dancing, laughing and sharing stories over colors and culture. Smiles Mobile Remittance India proudly joined the event to show our support and connect with other Indians, sharing smiles and financial solutions closer to home.
Rang Barse in Tokyo
Meanwhile in Tokyo on March 30, 2025, the INCC Tokyo community hosted Rang Barse, another Holi celebration filled with traditional music, food and color play. Similar to Holi Milan, Rang Barse served as a cultural bridge for the Indian community living in the Kanto area, helping everyone feel a little closer to home.
Smiles Mobile Remittance India was happy to join the celebration as the only remittance company present—helping guests learn about fast, reliable, and affordable ways to support and send money back to their loved ones in India.
