What is Good Design Award; Winners for 2021

Smiles Mobile Remittance received recognition in this year’s 2021 Good Design Award.

So what does that mean, exactly?

Good Design Award is an esteemed competition that only awards a selected number of companies for their excellence in the design and functionality of their product. It’s an annual awards event that has been given out to companies inside and outside of Japan since 1957.

A company that is awarded by the Good Design Award committee is entitled to add the Good Design’s “G mark” to their company profile. It acts as a seal of approval and “serves as a communication tool to connect design with the society.”
