Filipino Community in Singapore Celebrates Freedom Day: 127th Philippine Independence Day

SINGAPORE — June 21, 2025 — Filipinos in Singapore gathered at the YMCA to celebrate Freedom Day, an event marking the 127th anniversary of Philippine Independence. The event, organized by Frich Revolution, combined tradition, fun and important discussions about building a better future.

The theme, “From Paycheck to Freedom: Why You Deserve More than Just Remittance,” encouraged overseas Filipinos to think beyond daily earnings and begin working toward long-term goals. The event encouraged Filipinos to discover how to align their work with their dreams, values, freedom and God-given purpose.
