Tokyo, Japan – Digital Wallet Corporation’s Smiles Mobile Remittance Latin America Team sponsored two Latino events this Oct. 2022 to create relationships with the Latin American communities in the Kanto Region.
On Oct. 9, 2022, Smiles Latin America sponsored Kanagawa Latin Music Festival 2022 in Sagamihara, Kanagawa. Many participants mainly consisted of Peruvians, Brazilians and other Latin countries which allowed Smiles to connect with the Latino community in the area. Everyone enjoyed traditional music as well as a football competition.
Smiles Latin America sponsored another event on Oct. 15 and 16 to support the “UENO de BUENO” Salsa Street Festival 2022, which mainly showed off the rich dancing culture. Attendees were able to also enjoy delectable Latino cuisines.
The Festival was a success; Smiles was able to connect with the Latino community in Tokyo and the large crowd even enjoyed some entertainment from Tori, the Smiles mascot. This helped spread “smiles across the miles” during the event.
Smiles Mobile Remittance hopes to attend and sponsor Latino events in Japan, as the service strives to create and maintain meaningful relationships with many communities.
