Digital Wallet Corporation’s CEO Invited to Speak at Japan Fintech Festival 2024

Tokyo, Japan, 1 March 2024 — Digital Wallet Corporation, known as the developer and owner of Japan’s number one international mobile money transfer service, Smiles Mobile Remittance, and Good Design Award 2021 recipient, is proud to announce that its Founder and CEO, Eiji Miyakawa, has been invited to speak at the Japan Fintech Festival (JFF) on Mar. 6, 2024. The festival, scheduled to take place from Mar. 4 to Mar. 8, 2024, will bring together industry leaders, innovators and policymakers to discuss the latest trends and developments in the fintech industry.

Mr. Miyakawa’s session will focus on the entrepreneurial potential of women and his personal experience working in the fintech industry. As an advocate for diversity and inclusion, Mr. Miyakawa is thrilled to share his insights and experiences with the audience.

Mr. Miyakawa, a licensed lawyer has had a distinguished career in the tech industry, beginning with his tenure at Sony Corporation. As General Manager at Sony, he was responsible for digital services for over 150 million users worldwide. After leaving Sony, he founded Digital Wallet Corporation in 2014, bringing together a team of former engineers and cloud designers from Sony. Since then, Digital Wallet has become the developer and owner of Smiles Mobile Remittance, the most popular global remittance service in Japan and the recipient of the Good Design Award 2021.
