Canada, 1 April 2024 – Smiles Mobile Remittance Canada proudly joined the 3rd Filipino Restaurant Month Canada, an event organized by the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) in Calgary, Alberta, in collaboration with the Philippine Department of Tourism – San Francisco.

As an annual celebration of Filipino cuisine in Canada, Smiles Mobile Remittance Canada once again demonstrated its support for Filipino entrepreneurs and business owners across the country. This year’s event was particularly significant as it coincided with the 75th anniversary of Philippine-Canada diplomatic relations and Filipino Food Month in the Philippines. In celebration, Smiles Mobile Remittance sponsored 10 gift certificates and provided merchandise for Filipinos participating in the food month festivities.

The event featured over 41 participating restaurants from eight provinces and eighteen cities across Canada. To promote the celebration, Smiles Mobile Remittance distributed posters announcing a digital campaign: for every registration, participants would receive merchandise from Smiles.
