Smiles Canada Philippines Team Attended Balik Kalye Cultural Parade 2023 in Winnipeg

The event took place on June 24-25, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Winnipeg.

The Manitoba Filipino Street Festival, now in its 12th year, serves as a vibrant way to celebrate the Filipino community’s rich cultural heritage in Manitoba. With over 50 Filipino associations representing 80 provinces in the Philippines, the festival attracted more than 10,000 attendees this year.

The parade also showcased local performers, ethnic presentations, and the energetic Zumbhaton, a fusion of Zumba and traditional Filipino music.
